Are you MAD??!
If you're not emotionally affected by that video then you must like Golf as a sport.
That part where he stalls it not once but twice shows just how incredibly skilled you must be to drive that car. But yet 99% of the time he make its look like he's waving a feather.
If there's anyone that takes the P I double S then its Mad mike.
I had the pleasure of going to Goodwood Festival of speed 2024. All thanks to my parents who kindly bought us the tickets, how lucky are we!? I took my best pal Jordan and he had never been to anything like this in his life and being once before when I was only a lad, I knew the excitement and aura he was about to experience over the next 5 days.
I've always been interested in Mad Mike Whiddett since he posted "Mad Mike drifting Crown Range in New Zealand"
I had followed his build of the MadMac before Goodwood 24' and anticipated what I was going to experience in real life.
It still makes me speechless now, that car is f8cking stupendously wickedly amazing hell breaking relentless and loud - all at the same time. You cant get to see much because of the crowd of people in behind the hay bails trying to get their glimpse of the 10 foot flames shooting out of it.
You know what was so weirdly amazing about watching him go up the hill??
That everyone and everything else seemed so radio silent. Speechless themselves, trying to compute in their minds how a machine like that can rev so high with incredible acceleration, while looking like a McLaren but totally not.
This year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed was one to remember. Porsche stole the show with the new 911 GT3, available in both track and Touring trims, plus the stunning Taycan Turbo GT Weissach — their most powerful road car yet. Celebs even got involved, with Dua Lipa unveiling a charity-auction GT3 RS and Adrien Brody premiering his racing documentary at a drive-in cinema surrounded by iconic Porsches.
On the hillclimb, the Ford Supertruck blew everyone away with a 43-second run, while Subaru’s Project Midnight WRX wasn’t far behind. Bentley also made headlines when the Bentayga Speed set a new record for production SUVs. And in true Goodwood style, there was no shortage of surprises — Toyota’s mysterious new GT concept turned heads and sparked rumours of a future Lexus supercar.
Goodwood we will meet again, hopefully in 2026
Let me know which car you would love to see in person, looking forward to hearing from you!

P.S. Stay MAD
