FAQs

Products & Fitment

Will this part fit my car?

Every product page lists the makes, models and years it's designed for. If you're not sure, send us your registration (or your make, model, year and engine) at info@bafmotorsport.co.uk or on WhatsApp (07904 520 942) and we'll confirm fitment before you order.

Are your parts genuine?

Yes. We're the UK's No.1 official ARMYTRIX supplier and No.1 official Valvetronic Designs dealer and installer. We're also an approved dealer for Scorpion Exhausts, BC Racing, Eventuri, 4H-TECH and more. Everything we sell comes direct from the manufacturer or their authorised distribution.

What's the difference between ARMYTRIX and Valvetronic Designs?

Both make premium valved exhaust systems that let you switch between quiet and loud at the touch of a button. They differ in materials, finishes, sound character and vehicle coverage. If you're torn between the two, give us a call on 01924 806 361 and we'll talk you through which suits your car and what you want from it.

Will a valved exhaust pass an MOT?

In most cases, yes. Valved systems can be run in quiet mode for the test, and all our systems are manufactured to fit the factory mounting points. If you have a specific concern, speak to us before ordering.

Will aftermarket parts affect my warranty or insurance?

Fitting aftermarket parts doesn't automatically void your manufacturer warranty, but a dealer may decline a claim if they can show the part caused the fault. We always recommend telling your insurer about any modifications. It's usually straightforward and keeps you properly covered.

The K-Brace®

What is the K-Brace®?

The K-Brace® is our own-brand rear strut brace, designed and developed in-house at BAF and tested with the University of Huddersfield. Testing showed up to 18% reduction in body flex, which means sharper turn-in, better feedback and a more planted feel. It's available for over 150 vehicle platforms.

What colours does the K-Brace® come in?

Black, grey, white, red, blue, yellow, or a raw finish.

Does the trim need cutting?

On around 90% of braces, yes, but only minimally.

How do I fit the rivet nuts?

We supply a rivet nut tool with every K-Brace®, so there's no need to buy an expensive one. Watch the video below to see how it's done.

Fitting Service

Can you fit the parts for me?

Yes. We have a fully equipped workshop in Horbury, Wakefield, and fit everything we sell. Find us at 60/61b Calder Vale Road, Horbury, Wakefield, WF4 5ER. We're open Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm. To book, call 01924 806 361 or email info@bafmotorsport.co.uk.

How long does fitting take?

It depends on the product and the vehicle. A K-Brace® usually takes around 1 to 2 hours, depending on the model. We'll confirm timings when you book.

Can I wait while my car is fitted?

Absolutely. We have a waiting area with a TV, and there's even a gym if you want to make use of the time.

Do I need to bring anything?

Just your keys, plus your locking wheel nut key if the job needs the wheels off. For valved exhausts, we'll set up the remote or app with you before you leave.

Can I fit it myself?

Many of our products can be fitted at home by a competent DIYer, and the K-Brace® is designed as a bolt-in fitment. Exhausts are more involved, and we'd recommend a professional fit. If you get stuck, we're only a phone call away.

Ordering & Delivery

How much is delivery?

K-Brace® and Valvetronic Designs exhausts have free UK delivery. JP Cages roll cages are a £180 flat rate, UK only. Everything else is calculated at checkout based on parcel size. International delivery rates are calculated at checkout.

Who do you ship with?

We ship with DHL, and you'll receive tracking details as soon as your order is dispatched.

How long will my order take?

Lead times vary by product and manufacturer. Please contact us for current lead times on the item you're interested in, and we'll keep you updated from order to delivery.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship worldwide with DHL, apart from roll cages, which are UK only. See International Orders, Duties & Taxes below.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major debit and credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Klarna (pay later and finance options), and bank transfer.

International Orders, Duties & Taxes

Will I have to pay import duty or taxes?

Possibly. If you're ordering from outside the UK, your country may charge import duty, local VAT/GST, or customs handling fees when your parcel arrives. These charges are set by your country's customs authority, not by BAF Motorsport, and aren't included in our product prices or delivery costs.

Who pays the duties and fees?

You do. Any import duties, taxes, brokerage or customs clearance fees are the customer's responsibility. DHL will usually contact you to collect payment before or on delivery.

How much will the charges be?

We can't calculate them for you, as they depend on your country, the type of product and the order value. We recommend checking with your local customs office before you order so there are no surprises.

What if I refuse to pay the charges?

If a parcel is refused or left uncollected because duties haven't been paid, it will be returned to us. In that case, the original delivery cost, return shipping and any charges we incur will be deducted from your refund.

Do you remove UK VAT on international orders?

No. All prices include UK VAT, including on orders shipped outside the UK. Your country may also charge its own import VAT or taxes on arrival, and these are the customer's responsibility.

Returns & Warranty

Can I return an item?

Yes. You can cancel your order within 14 days of delivery for any reason. Items must be unused, unfitted and in their original packaging and condition, and return postage is paid by the customer. Made-to-order and fitted items can't be returned unless they're faulty. Please contact us before sending anything back. See our Returns & Refund Policy for full details.

What warranty do your products have?

All products carry the manufacturer's warranty, and the length varies by brand. The K-Brace® comes with a 1-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. If you have a problem, get in touch and we'll handle the claim for you.

My item arrived damaged or faulty. What should I do?

Contact us as soon as possible with your order number and photos, and please don't fit an item that looks damaged. Within 30 days of delivery you're entitled to a full refund for a faulty item. After that, we'll repair or replace it.
